The Elegy of Boredom by Julia Morozova

What does boredom mean to you? Take some breathing space and join Milan-based photographer Julia Morozova as she treasures the voids between freedom and suspension.

Boredom is an inevitable part of our daily routines when we queue at the post office, or we wait for our nail polish to dry, or while we watch the adverts in-between our favourite tv shows. But we just don’t know how to deal with boredom anymore. We constantly stare at our phones, or change tabs on our computers, as soon as we have a handful of empty minutes, we are incapable of just waiting and doing nothing. This shoot is a celebration of that void: our character is a woman who appreciates these suspended moments and knows how to treasure them.
