BRICKS’ Best Dressed at The British Fashion Awards

You’re doing great, sweetie!

WORDS Megan Bowles

For this year’s British Fashion Awards, the likes of Kris Jenner, Billy Porter and Idris Elba took to the stage to host and present awards to the star-studded crowd. Of course, tributes were rightfully paid to the legendary Virgil Abloh who sadly passed the day before the awards.

So, though you may have seen a few best-dressed lists floating around, you haven’t seen our list of our favorite looks and personalities from the night (Gillian please reply to my texts):

Iris Law, of course, looks incredible in a Dilara Findikoglu dress and Jimmy Choo boots.

Adut Akech Bior has been on all of the different best-dressed lists, and for good reason. The model presented the Isabella Bow award in this cut-out custom dress from Sergio Hudson.

Simone Ashley, our favourite Sex Education star, wows in this asymmetrical cut AZ Factory dress.

Abby Roberts, with her stunning orange hair in old-Hollywood style waves, wears Vivienne Westwood and a vintage fake fur coat (The British Fashion Council has a strict no-fur policy for all of its events).

Halima Aden stuns in this head-to-toe Tommy Hilfiger all-black look.

Munroe Bergdorf, our November cover star, wears custom Robert Wun.

Paul Mescal, I can confirm, was not wearing his silver chain. Very disappointing.

We love a good waistcoat power-suit and Zara Larsson certainly fulfilled the brief in this HM cream matching set and chunky silver choker.

People are very quick to be critical of TikToker’s attending Fashion events, understandably, but we think Addison Rae wowed in Richard Quinn for the Fashion Awards.

Another TikToker-turned-Model attending the event, Wisdom Kaye, has previously been called the ‘best-dressed guy on TikTok’ by Vogue, and didn’t disappoint for the BFA in Vivienne Westwood.

As the final addition to our list, though we weren’t the biggest fan of Gillian’s dress, we don’t care because we strongly believe in Gillian Anderson Supremacy. That is all.
