Want Your Work Featured In Our Next Issue?

Find out how your work could be included in our next print, #11 'The Art Issue'.

It’s that time of the year again – we’re making another magazine! Over the past six years, our founding editor Tori West has strived to create a unique piece of fashion publishing celebrating the next generation of creatives and working with our audience to amplify their work and words.

This year, we’ve made the decision to switch our print production to annual, but fear not – for our annual September issue now includes 200+ pages bursting with the best fashion, hottest music and newest artists of the year. Our issue will continue to feature our Portraits sections, championing new talent that should be on your radar, our Shopping guides selected by Tori and our limited edition Cover Posters.

For our 2022 issue, we’re looking at art – from fine art to film, make-up to murals, and graphics to graffiti – exploring what the future holds for next generation of artists, be it the increasingly digital landscape for artists or the lack of natural landscape we have left.

Below, find our guide on submitting & pitching for our next issue. Please send all emails with the subject line: BRICKS #11 ‘THE ART ISSUE’.

  • WRITING – We’re accepting arts & culture pitches including articles, interviews & essays. Please send these to maddy@bricksmagazine.co.uk.
  • FASHION EDITORIALS – We’re looking for fashion editorials based on our issue theme, with a minimum of 8 looks/10 images. Please include full team & clothing credits along with a suggested title and any additional copy you’d like to include. Please send this to tori@bricksmagazine.co.uk.
  • FASHION EDITORIAL PITCHES – Tori will review pitches although we cannot guarantee we will have the time/capacity to shoot a lot so recommend submitting completed editorials where possible.

The deadline for pitches & submissions is Friday 1st July. Please note that due to the capacity of submissions we receive, we are unable to respond to everyone and will only be responding to successful applicants.

Please also be aware that the BRICKS team is not on salary and only makes a commission on paid partnership projects. We’re working hard to create budgets for all of our creative teams but currently are unable to offer a fee for submitted work. To support our work and our future goals to cover all production costs and fees for our creatives, please consider becoming a member on our Learner Platform. Hosted via Steady, the platform provides a weekly opportunities board – featuring jobs, freelance call-outs, grants, internships, events, workshops & more – along with our podcast series, how-to guides and interviews with industry leaders all sent straight to your inbox.

In the meantime, there are still some copies of #10 ‘The Family Issue’ available on our shop, so grab a copy now before they’re gone!
