The Sandman

The Sandman is a traditional character in many children’s stories and books. In Scandinavian folklore, he is said to sprinkle sand into the eyes of children at night to bring on sleep and dreams. For #14 The Resilience Issue cover, Andrea Brandt invites the viewer into a visual journey of a surreal dreamscape, where abstract forms and eccentric outfits drift into a world of dreams
