Fashion diva Jasmina TV walked for Outsiders Division
Serving cosy chaos in a longline knitted cardi, professional shopper Jasmina swapped her usual front-row seat for a spot on the runway for Outsiders Division. Marking her modelling debut, her look was complete with patchwork rubber ducks and bows galore. Yas diva!

DOMINNICO was a love letter to Madonna
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, DOMINNICO unveiled SUPERNOVA for SS27, a collection taking cues from the queen of reinvention herself, Madonna. The piece references some of her most iconic eras, from Hollywood and Die Another Day to her legendary MTV VMAs performances. With nods to her Confessions II era, the collection celebrates fashion as a form of unapologetic individuality with icons Tayce, Sita Bellan and Kitty Lever hitting the runway.

Aqua was everywhere
DOMINNICO, Studio 404 and Custo Barcelona all embraced shades of turquoise for SS27. As we spotted earlier this season at Copenhagen Fashion Week, fashion appears to be shifting from quiet luxury to holiday luxury, with aqua becoming a visual shorthand for escapism. While butter yellow gave us sunshine, turquoise gives us the destination itself, tapping into a wider cultural obsession with Mediterranean summers, seaside nostalgia and dressing like we’re permanently on holiday.

The bedroom to ready-to-wear pipeline
Sleepwear stepped out onto the runway for SS27, as designers reimagined traditional pyjama styles for everyday dressing. Compte Spain elevated pinstriped pyjama shirts with intricate embellishments, pairing them with hot pants and fishnet tights, while Outsiders Division put a playful spin on silky co-ords with contrast piping, delicate lace trims and whimsical childlike embroidery.

Made by hand, not by AI
As AI and tech fatigue continue to dominate conversation in the creative industry, crochet was everywhere at 080 Barcelona Fashion this season, reminding us of the value of human craftsmanship. Unlike knitting, which can be mass-produced by machines, AI has struggled to replicate traditional crochet.
At Studio 404, the craft took on a futuristic twist, with neon crochet, sculptural constructions and playful crocheted lips bringing a handmade element to the label’s Paprika-inspired SS27 collection. In an industry increasingly obsessed with automation, even robots appearing on the runways, perhaps there’s something refreshing about a craft that still relies so heavily on the human hand.

Out of the woods
From O’Barret’s carved pregnancy bump to Lamar’s grandfather clock jacket, wood-inspired details brought a touch of the surreal to the 080 runways. And with Olivia Colman’s Wicker, a folkish fantasy about a woman who commissions herself a husband made from wicker, arriving in UK cinemas this week, alongside LAIKA’s stop-motion fantasy Wildwood, the woods are having something of a moment. Whether it’s fashion, film or a little fairytale weirdness, nature is making its way back into our imaginations.
